It isn’t. Lighthouse Point sits about 27.8 kilometers from our Davie base along the coast, and a small footprint doesn’t change how the call gets handled once it comes in, day or night, in any month of the year.
What makes the city distinct is timing: the finger-canal subdivisions that make up most of Lighthouse Point, including Venetian Isles, Coral Key and Lighthouse Manor, were officially added to the city in the late 1950s and early 1960s, nearly all inside one fairly tight window.
That gives us a solid starting estimate of pipe age before a truck even leaves the shop, though we still confirm the actual material once we’re standing at the property rather than guessing purely from the build decade, especially on a house that’s clearly been through a renovation since it went up.
